Company Delegation Visit: Changchun and Harbin at the beginning of September 2008

As part of the Northeast China project, the Ministry of Employment and the Economy is planning a field study trip of Finnish company delegation to Changchun, the capital city of Jilin province and Harbin, the capital city of Heilongjiang province. The aim of the trip is to familiarize local provincial governments and company representatives with Finnish know-how, and to arrange match-making seminar meetings with 3-4 local company representatives, and to visit the fair (the 4th China Jilin Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo 2-6.9.), where new contacts can be sought as well as visit local companies to get familiarized with the local business environment.

The preliminary industrial focuses of seminar meetings are agricultural machinery, food industry, energy saving and renewable energies, environment technology, arctic building, wood- and building industry. The focuses may alter among the provinces. The final content of the seminar will be determined according to the industries represented by Finnish company participants.

30.8.Sat	Departure from Helsinki
31.8. Sun	Arrival to Beijing, connect flight to Changchun.
1.9. Mon	Seminars in Changchun: general seminar, industry-specific seminars and match-making.
2.9. Tue	Opening of the fair, company visits.
3.9. Wed	Company visits, in afternoon to Harbin by bus.
4.9. Thu	Seminars in Harbin: general seminar, industry-specific seminars, match-making, company visits.
5.9. Fri	Company visits, afternoon flight to Beijing.
6.9. Sat	Return to Helsinki or own program.
7.9. Sun	Return to Helsinki.

The practical trip operator is China Tekway Ltd Oy.

Match making seminar trip participation fee

Seminar trip package fee: 4.250 €+22% alv (return on 6.9) / 4.400 €+22% alv
(return 7.9) /per participant.
15 % discount for the other participants from the same company.
25 % discount for participants from local Finnish companies in China.

Seminar package fee include:

- Seminar arrangement (seminar premises, get-together working lunch, interpretation, seminar coordination)
- Translation (each participating company’s own PowerPoint-presentation, max 10 slides, 1 A4 introduction page in delegation brochure)
- Printing of delegation brochure and seminar materials
- Free entrance to the 4th Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo
- 3-4 match-making companies at each match making seminar
- Flight between Helsinki – Peking – Helsinki as well as Peking – Changchun, Harbin – Peking (This does include local participants in China)
- Hotel accommodations (standard room in 4-5 star hotels in Peking, Changchun, Harbin, and breakfast. Hotel accommodation in Beijing does not include local participants in China)
- Bus transportation between Changchun-Harbin and company visits in Changchun and Harbin
- Bus transportation between airport and hotels in Peking, Changchun and Harbin
- Travel arrangement and other travel programs

China Tekway will apply for the international aid of travel and seminar participation costs from the Ministry of Employment and the Economy for the participating companies.

Binding registration as soon as possible, but latest 16.6.2008. Company data sheet is due handing in 16.6. The data sheet helps to find local match-making companies and the company information will be used for the delegation brochure.
